Elk Grove Women Arrested For Price Altering, Illegal Possession of EBT Card

An Elk Grove lady was arrested after allegedly changing prices on merchandise then trying to purchase it on an EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) card illegally in her possession.

On Saturday afternoon Elk Grove Police sere summoned to the Winco store on Sheldon Road after loss prevention allegedly observed 55-year old Manda Foang switching price tags. Officers determined that the suspect was using an EBT card issued to someone else when see attempted to pay for the merchandise.

Hoang was arrested and transferred to the county jail.
