Elk Grove Police Apprehend Two Daytime Burglars

Elk Grove Police apprehended two home burglary later yesterday morning with the help of witness descriptions.

According to police reports, a witness noticed 18-year old Clenzo Johnson of Sacramento and a 15-year old Elk Grove juvenile male enter a backyard on the 5000 block of Opal Creek Court then later leave the area. Responding officers were able to locate the suspects based on the descriptions provided.

A check of the residence found that a side garage door had been forcibly opened. Johnson was arrested and transferred to the county jail and the juvenile suspect was arrested and taken to juvenile hall.

In other activity, police arrested 41-year old Dee Sims of Sacramento for shoplifting at the Winco store on Sheldon Road. The suspect was transferred to the county jail.
