Elk Grove Man Arrested After Forcibly Entering Residence, Attacking Victim

While Elk Grove has seen its share of domestic violence cases, on Monday one incident included the forcible entry to a residence.

According to Elk Grove Police reports, 44-year old Alex Decena forcibly entered an apartment and attacked his victim. After entering, Decena allegedly pushed and dragged the victim and chased the victim who was trying to call police from a cell phone.

The suspect reportedly grabbed the phone and smashed it by throwing in on the ground. Upon arrival officers arrested the suspect. The victim sustained visible injures and was issued an emergency protective order.

In other activity, police arrested 20-year old Christopher Anderson of Elk Grove for allegedly burglarizing a vacant house on the 8700 block of El Toreador Way.
