Attempted Robbery of Cell Phone, Shoes

An Elk Grove man was the victim of an attempted robbery of his cell phone and shoes he was trying to sell yesterday afternoon.

According to Elk Grove Police reports, the victim had arranged to meet the robber to sell him a pair of shoes on the 5600 block of Adobe Spring Way. While the victim was showing the shoes, the robber grabbed the victim's cell phone and one pair of shoes.

the victim pushed the robber and retrieved his property. The suspect then fled the area on foot.

The robber is described as a black male, 18-19 years old, 6'0" tall, 165 pounds, wearing a white hooded swet shirt and blue jeans.
